Why choose Leuven?
Pretty Leuven
The student city of Leuven is one of the most beautiful towns in Belgium, 20 minutes from Brussels and right in the heart of Europe. You'll be convinced by this extremely cool movie shot by the talented Basel, who loves this city as much as we do. Learn more about why scientists and innovators feel perfectly at home in Leuven, via the Leuven Mindgate website.

Our training program
Our CBD training program is for PhD students, postdocs and technicians. It bundles all the relevant training offered at our host institutes, VIB and KU Leuven, into seven tracks for the development of specific skills.
Why this program?
Professional development is important, and that is why we have brought together in one portal all courses that are useful for members of our research center. Everyone who completes the requirements for each of the seven training tracks will receive a certificate acknowledging their all rounded skills training.
Track your progress
All students, technicians and postdocs can log the training they completed to track professional development during yearly feedback meetings.
