Scientific Advisory Board visit to our Center in 2023
Scientific Advisory Board
Every few years, we invite top scientists from around the world to visit and provide advice on the scientific strategy of our Center.
The board discusses science with our group leaders and interacts with all levels of our Center during their on-site visit. They then provide feedback to our Directors, which is fed back to relevant stakeholders in our community (committee representatives, etc) to foster growth and continued excellence.

The board is highly impressed by the overall scientific productivity and quality of research in the Center, as well as the generally positive atmosphere of the research environment... The overall technology transfer system, productivity, and approach taken by the VIB Innovation and Business development team are impressive. The financial, technical, and business support are excellent and the members of the SAB have not seen this high-quality technology transfer in other research institutes and academic centers.
