Outreach
Our growing community requires a dedicated communication effort ensuring everyone stays connected. We aim to advance neuroscience research by informing, engaging and involving our stakeholders, including patients, policy makers, educators and society at large.
Our dedicated Neuroscience Communicator designs and coordinates outreach activities in collaboration with our partner organizations. Contact bethan.burnside@vib.be for media inquiries, outreach ideas and initiatives, and invitations for researchers to participate in events, documentaries, podcasts, etc.
Public Lectures & Events
We raise awareness through public lectures and by participating in open-to-all initiatives such as Brain Awareness Week (pictured).
STEM Education for Children
We participate work with Science on the Road, TAJO, and other initiatives to inspire the next generation of neuroscientists.
Outreach Brochure
We published an outreach brochure to spread the word about our Center.
Visiting Mural Artist
We hosted a guest artist to paint a mural during Diversity in Science Week.
